Heritage Wall

Parramatta Square has transformed the city centre by creating a new precinct enlivened with commerce, culture and conveniences. Before construction began at Parramatta Square, the sites were investigated for the archaeological evidence it had to reveal the changing patterns of land use and human activity. An extensive phase of Archaeological investigations across the site has revealed important remnants of Parramatta’s First Australians and European heritage which have been captured through a range of interpretations and references throughout the precinct, acknowledging the role of the site in Australia’s earliest and ongoing history. The findings can be found in an impressive heritage art display in the Lobby of 3 Parramatta Square created by Comber Consultants, Betteridge Consulting, X Squared, LightWell & Walker Corporation.
